Frosted Keto Christmas Cookies
Stefani, over at Natural Paleo Family, figured out how to make the traditional sugar cookies, but without using all the sugar that gives that cookie it’s name. Each cookie is loaded with 9 grams fo fat and only 1 gram of carbohydrates. She uses granulated erythritol, which is both keto and paleo-friendly, but I know a lot of you try to avoid that.
Keto Peanut Butter Blossoms
This is an amazing keto variation of the peanut butter blossom cookies that a lot of people make to share on Christmas. The traditional version has so much sugar in the cookie and the chocolate kiss, but this one has been adapted to make each of these soft cookies have less than 2 grams of net carbs per cookie.
Keto Snowball Cookies
I have an aunt who makes every person in a family a Christmas cookie basket with probably 15 kinds of cookies in them. The snowball cookies are by far my favorites, but they are also the far opposite of being low-carb. Luckily I found this keto version of them here. I sent the recipe to my aunt. Let’s see if she makes it for me this year. Fingers crossed!
Keto Peanut Butter Cookies
Ah, the oft-forgotten cookie. Peanut butter cookies are so good and so easily adapted into a low-carb style. Just check out this easy recipe from Hip2Keto that only uses 3 ingredients…peanut butter, eggs, and natural sweeteners.
Keto Nutter Butter Cookies
And while we’re on the topic of peanut butter cookies, you can NOT forget about these Nutter Butter inspired cookies from Keto Connect. Keto or not, these are a great alternative to the store-bought Nutter Butters snacks.
Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies
Did you really think I was going to forget to offer up the holy grail of all cookies? There are a lot of chocolate chip cookie recipes out there for keto dieters, but a lot of them tend to come out super dry, crumble too easily, or just not have the taste you’re looking for. The recipe from Mouth Watering Motivation has a cookie recipe that is better than most non-keto versions I’ve tried in the past. Warning – there are some obscure ingredients in this. The next recipe is a little easier to make without seeking out things like blackstrap molasses.
Easier Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies
My little secret to finding the best keto recipes…Reddit. There are so many user-generated recipes by some people who live and breathe this diet. I found this recipe a while back and this is the go-to option for me.
Check out the recipe on Reddit.
Low Carb Snickerdoodle Crème Cookies
Let’s get a little fancy with this one. Snickerdoodles, in my opinion, are great on their own. This recipe adds a delicious cream that helps get that fat bomb effect. Each cookie sandwich is somehow under 1.5 grams of carbs too!
Keto Gingerbread Cookies
Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without some gingerbread cookies. Get ready to bust out those cookie cutters and get in the kitchen for these bad boys. Decorate as you see fit with this low-carb royal icing. I actually never knew the difference between royal icing and regular frosting until I read this recipe.
Keto Chocolate Cookies with Chocolate Chips
I’m a big chocolate lover. The richer the better. This is a great recipe for a soft chocolate cookie, and they only have 1 net gram of carbs! One of these fudgey cookies should satisfy your sweet tooth, but with only 1 gram of net carbs, it might be okay to indulge in a few of these.
Keto Eggnog Cookies
The Christmas season is really the only time of the year when drinking eggnog is justifiable. Sorry to you summer nog drinkers. While there are some great keto eggnog recipes, some people might appreciate you showing up with these keto eggnog cookies from Pam at The Birch Cottage. Just try not to eat all of the cream cheese-based dough when you’re making these.
Keto Christmas Pinwheel Cookies
Honestly, these are just glorified sugar cookies. They are, however, a beautiful addition to any dessert table on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. They take a little extra work to make, but you’ll likely impress the guests. And they taste good too which is always a plus.
Keto Raspberry Linzer Cookies
Why is it that Linzer cookies really only pop up around the holidays? They should be a regular on any cookie tray. The recipe below comes from a vegan keto website, so if you aren’t following a plant-based diet than you can swap out the vegan cream cheese and vegan butter for regular dairy-based cream cheese and butter. Both ways are great to me!
