My Favorite Keto Snacks at Whole Foods

Best Keto Whole Foods Snacks

Yeah, I’m bougie and do my grocery shopping at Whole Foods.  I’ll spend a little extra to get some quality foods like meat that actually looks fresh and a sampling of other products that you won’t find at a typical grocery store.  Whole Foods has so many keto-friendly snacks and ingredients that I really can’t find elsewhere.

I’m also a big fan of the Amazon Prime Now free delivery since I’m a busy man…or lazy. Haven’t quite decided which one yet.

Every time I go into Whole Foods or shop on Prime Now, the below is the list of snacks that I try to get every time.

Table Of Contents
  1. Koia Keto Drinks
  2. Love Good Fats Snack Bars
  3. Fat Snax Cookies
  4. Mammoth Creameries Keto Ice Cream
  5. Soppressata & Cheese Cubes
  6. Sardines
  7. Avocados
  8. Kettle & Fire Bone Broth
  9. Dark…DARK Chocolate
  10. Rebbl Cold Brew

Koia Keto Drinks

The chocolate brownie flavor is actually something I like to drink whether it is keto or not.  But, it definitely is keto-friendly.  A full bottle only has 6 net carbs and 15 grams of fat.  It tastes great and is made from coconut milk and vegetable proteins.  I’ve also tried a cake batter and cookies and cream flavor that are decent, but the chocolate brownie is my favorite.

Love Good Fats Snack Bars

When I’m busy, these are a staple to my keto life.  Most of the flavors of the Love Good Fats Bars are good, but I’m quasi-addicted to the cookie dough flavor.  You can also buy these directly from their site, but I’ve found it cheaper to actually buy it from Whole Foods.  Who would have thought?  Each keto-friendly bar has 13 grams of fat and only 5 grams of net carbs.

Fat Snax Cookies

These definitely don’t replace a regular cookie, but they are still great alternatives if you have a sweet tooth and need something chocolatey after a meal.  I find that after eating a very salty meal I need something sweet to kind of tame my taste buds and settle my stomach.  The double chocolate chip Fat Snax cookies are rich in flavor and have only 2 net carbs.

Mammoth Creameries Keto Ice Cream

I’m really sick of the non-dairy “keto” ice cream options everywhere.  The majority of the ones I find are made from milk alternatives like almond milk and are low in fat and low in…flavor!  Recently I saw two flavors of Mammoth Creameries keto ice cream in the freezer section and gave the vanilla bean a try.  It’s actually really good.  Instead of using bland milk alternatives, this ice cream uses heavy whipping cream, grass-fed butter, and pastured egg yolks.  It’s got plenty of fat to keep your ketosis up and only 1 net carb per serving.  Obviously, you aren’t going to stop at 1 serving, so just in case you polish off the entire container, it’s only 4 net carbs for an entire container.

Soppressata & Cheese Cubes

The frugal move would be to buy a whole soppressata and a block of cheese, but I’m usually eating this snack when I’m hungry and in a rush to stuff food down my throat.  Every time I go to Whole Foods I’ll try and find a container of cubed cut cheese that is on sale that would probably be good with soppressata.  When I’m craving a keto snack I’ll just take a slice of this delicious cured meat and wrap it around a small cube of cheese.  It’s a fast and lazy version of keto charcuterie.

Sardines

Yeah not really a snack, but I like to keep a few tins of Wild Planet sardines around when I need something very healthy to snack on.  These are great for traveling and are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.  I do try and keep my consumption of this down to 2 or 3 times a week though, just to make sure I don’t ingest too many heavy metals like mercury. I’ve definitely sampled other brands and find that some are kind of gross, but I genuinely like eating Wild Planet sardines straight out of the can.

Avocados

This should already be a staple in anyone’s keto grocery list for regular meals, but avocado is versatile for snack ideas.  One of my quick snacks is to cut the avocado into large cubes and mix it with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and hemp seeds when I’ve got those around.  Sometimes I’ll mix in turmeric or mustard powder, not for the taste, but to reap the benefits of these spices.

Kettle & Fire Bone Broth

Again, not a traditional snack, but great when you’re in a bind.  I’m sure you’ve read plenty about the health benefits of bone broth already, so I won’t bore you with it here.  Where I live a container is about $6 but goes on sale every now and then.  Almost every month I’ll find a deal with the Ibotta app to get $1-$3 cashback for each purchase.

Dark…DARK Chocolate

Like I said with the Fat Snax cookies, sometimes you just need to appease your sweet tooth.  Whole Foods has an amazing selection of chocolate bars and even some that use stevia instead of sugar.  My current favorite is Lily’s sea salt extra dark chocolate.  If my sweet tooth is acting up, all I need is a square or two to be happy.

Rebbl Cold Brew

This is great for the mornings when I’m in a bit of a rush and don’t have time to make a pot of coffee.  Yes, I make pots of coffee instead of gross instant k-cups.  Thanks, Ninja coffee bar!  My go-to Rebbl coffee drink is the Reishi cold-brew with MCT oil and zero grams of sugar.  There is no sugar to sweeten it, but it’s got a great flavor with the coconut milk and vanilla extract.  Then you have all of the benefits of reishi mushrooms included without the taste of mushrooms.
