Keto Overnight Oats aka “Noatmeal”

December 28, 2019 by mike Leave a Comment

During my little stint I did recently of gorging on all foods that weren’t keto, I got really into overnight oats.  They are possibly the easiest meal prep and tastes great for an on-the-go meal.  While this is a really healthy breakfast for a traditional diet, it doesn’t comply with the low-carb ketogenic needs.

So the last few weeks I’ve been back to my keto lifestyle and seriously missing my overnight oats.  It just takes too long for me to do breakfast in the morning now.  Eggs are super quick to make, but I genuinely hate cleaning up after that.  Maybe I just need some new pans, maybe I just really miss my oatmeal.

Luckily, there are some keto overnight oats options.  Most of them have a hemp heart or flax meal base, which are both healthy and keto-friendly.  They also do a pretty good job at keeping the consistency of the overnight oats you might be used to.

If you’re looking for a no-prep breakfast idea, you can also try out keto cereal.  Check out my Magic Spoon review here.
