I’m constantly looking up paleo friend alternatives for specific foods and ingredients that I can use in my own meals and recipes. This is something I’m constantly searching for online, even for some things that I have already looked up before. That being said, I’m going to be starting a list right here for all of the paleo-friendly alternatives for non-paleo ingredients. This list will never end!
I could also write out exactly why each of these ingredients is non-paleo, but then that would make this one of those lists you get lost in, so here it is in simple alphabetical order…
Paleo Alternative Options
Brown Sugar – Use half the amount of maple syrup. If you want a more sugary texture, substitute 1:1 ration of either coconut sugar or date sugar.
Soy Sauce – 1:1 ratio of Bragg’s Liquid Amino
