Grilled Corned Beef Brisket
A more tasty alternative to boiling corned beef brisket on St. Paddy's day is to cook it on the grill.
Recipe type: Main
  • Corned beef brisket
Dry Rub
  • ⅓ cup granulated garlic
  • ⅓ cup smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • ½ tsp of mustard powder
  • Black and white pepper to taste
  1. Reduce the amount of salt in the corned beef by rinsing it and soaking in warm water for 1-2 hours. Pat dry
  2. Combine all of the spices. Rub generously on all sides of the corned beef brisket.
  3. Cook on very low (225-250 degrees) indirect heat, fatty side up
  4. After about an hour to an hour and a half wrap the beef tightly in foil
  5. Cook for another 30-60 minutes, until the internal temperature is 160 degrees
  6. Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing. Slice at an angle
  7. Enjoy with some grilled cabbage
